Cinematic ~ Concept Portraits ~ Character Driven
A portrait series exploring masking: the ways people move through the world appearing typical while privately managing internal struggles others cannot see. Subjects wear a simple paper bag over the head as a symbol of that concealment. By removing the face, the photographs shift attention to presence, posture, and the quiet tension between visibility and concealment. These are the people around us every day.

A series of photographs built from song lyrics. Each image begins with a single track, treated as a shooting script. The song provides the character, the setting, the light, and the mood. The camera finds what the lyrics already described. First image: Short Skirt Long Jacket by Cake.

One hotel room. Many lives. This series photographs the characters who pass through a single space: honeymooners on their first night, a couple mid-affair, a bank robber counting cash on the bed. The room stays the same. The story changes. Bring your character to the room.

A single purple chair. A storage locker. Minimal light. This project is a deliberate constraint: one prop, one space, one tight restriction on everything else. The question is what becomes possible when almost nothing is allowed. Restriction as a creative tool.
Model for this project →I'm always looking for interesting people to photograph. You don't need modeling experience. I'm more interested in presence and willingness than polish.
Current projects are set in local New England businesses, including cigar shops, bars, laundromats, and restaurants. If that sounds like your kind of scene, I'd love to hear from you.
All selected models receive a gallery of edited images for personal use.
The work is rooted in place. I'm always on the lookout for spaces with character — worn-in, lived-in, or just quietly interesting. If you own, manage, or simply know a space that feels like it has a story, I'd love to hear about it.
If selected, you'll receive a set of edited images from the shoot for your own use — no cost, no obligation.
